Ceremonial Work
I have been holding space for groups and individuals for almost 2 decades through yoga, transformational retreats, trainings and coaching. With the support and encouragement of my teachers and mentors, I began to incorporate plant medicines into my work. I have been offering group and private ceremonies for the past 5 years in several locations around British Columbia. This work has been deeply influenced by decades of personal experiences with several different plant medicines as well as countless ceremonies with Sacred Mushrooms, Huachuma and Ayahuasca. The call to offer ceremonial work was strong for me, and after 1.5yr Shamanic Apprenticeship, alongside 2.5 years of personal in-depth mentorship within the realm of Somatic Therapy, I began to offer ceremony slowly to friends and family in small circles for roughly 2 years. Eventually, the circles grew and with experience and confidence, I branched out and began to offer ceremonial work in a larger way. All the work I offer is grounded in deep somatic and therapeutic knowledge; there is an emphasis on safety, personal responsibility and learning how to integrate the ceremonial work into your life. All offerings are supported by 1 or more of incredible colleagues and team members who are dedicated and integral advocates of this way of working and showing up in the world.

October 21/22 ~ Awakening The Inner Healer
Delta & Sound: Summerland, BC

What has become more and more clear for me as I dive into this work, is the vast realization and knowing that our body’s innate wisdom and intelligence is incredibly profound. Our inner systems are always seeking homeostasis; our body is always looking to come into inner alignment and harmony, wholeness and optimum health. Many sages and teachers have taught that this journey of self-awareness and self-healing is not about gaining more of anything, but about dropping and letting go of all the that keep us from knowing our true essential nature.

Waitlist Only
The truth I have come to know is this: the healing and healer we are looking for is already within us! Not as an idea or new age concept, but as a neurophysiological occurrence that is part of our natural human make up.

The mycelium medicine can show you how to connect with the profound healer of your own body. In this ceremony we will be holding this theme and guiding you through a journey within the incredible inner-verse that exists within you. With sophisticated yet simple practices that have long been passed down through the wisdom teachings of ancient body such as Yoga, Shaolin, Tai Chi, etc; we can drop deeper into the fabric of our physical being, unravel and unwind the subtle tension caused and held by stress and trauma. As we learn and are able to unravel these tangled threads within ourselves, we can start to have a greater impact on our family, community and world. As we each greet our inner healer, we invite others to do the same; we inspire change merely with our loving presence, our inner healer reaching out and welcoming the blooming of the healer within everyone we meet.

October 27-29 ~ Integrating The Ego
A collaborative Retreat with Shine Edgar and Reanna Costa
Chanté Ishta: Blind Bay, BC

Many people come to work with plant medicines with the intention to reach the ego-less place and find freedom from themselves. This weekend retreat is an opportunity to allow the deconstruction of our ego, not from the place of wanting to get rid of the self, but from a place of loving curiosity so that we can see all sides and angles of ourself.
This is a special event created with the combined skills, experience and collaborative spirit of myself and Shine! You will have the opportunity to receive channelled music, teachings and presence from both of us; male and female, yang and yin.

November 10-13 ~ The Radical Rest Retreat
Facilitated by Reanna Costa, Tanin Shunter & Musical Guest Naomi Delta
The Sentinel: Kalso, BC

"What would it be like to live in a well-rested world? Far too many of us have claimed productivity as the cornerstone of success. Brainwashed by capitalism, we subject our bodies and minds to work at an unrealistic, damaging, and machine level pace –– feeding into the same engine that enslaved millions into brutal labor for its own relentless benefit”
~ Tricia Hersey, The Nap Bishop
In the fast-paced world we live in which focuses so heavily on doing, accomplishing and striving it is so rare that we take the time to slow down, to rest and simply be. These fast and action orientated ways are templated into our nervous system and psyches; many people when given the time to slow down don’t know what to do with themselves, fear boredom or just simply don’t know how to shift gears. We are living in a society that glorifies this busyness and supports “grind culture”.
In our time together, we will explore rest in many ways: as a practice, as a state of being, as way to actually accomplish more and as a way to say no to the cultural normality of working ourselves to the point of depletion. Our goal is to help template in a new way of being, to deeply experience and embody the power of relaxation, restoration and the flow of vital energy in the body.
Retreat begins Friday, Nov 10 @ 3pm and ends Monday, Nov 13th @ 1pm. Prices vary depending on the accommodation chosen.

December 1-4~ The Art & Medicine of Grief
Facilitated by Reanna Costa, Kylie Judge + Tanin Shunter
The Sentinel: Kalso, BC

"Where there is sorrow, there is holy ground” ~ Oscar Wilde

Grief touches us like nothing else. It's grip and it's ability to bring all of life into a blur and acute focus simultaneously is unique and powerful. For this reason, it is easy to shy away from grief, to try to push down, avoid and turn away from the intensity that it brings; however, for those that have the willingness to lean it, they see clearly and quickly the master initiator and teacher that grief is.
Within our time together we will be deeply exploring teachings from the remarkable book by Francis Weller: The Wild Edge of Sorrow. In his book, Weller breaks down what he calls, The 5 Gates to Grief which we will be exploring in a deep and vast way within the weekend and specifically within the mycelium medicine field. Many of us do not know how to grieve; it often takes death, tragedy, a health crisis or shock before we are able to open to the deep well of grief that lives within us. This grief doesn’t live within us as just a concept, it lives within the body, within the soma and tissues within the body and it is held there by our desire to keep it all together, by muscular/fascial tension and holding patterns within our body. And all of this, is usually deeply unconscious; held since we were little ones, unable or unknowing how to do it differently. With intention and strategic practices, we will slowly and gently help to uncover and unravel the holding patterns of grief from our body and do so in a way that is resourced and creates lasting resilience within your system. This is not about cracking you open, grief has already done that to some extent, this is about gently unweaving the threads that have bound together to keep up the protective and defensive armour. This must be done with gentleness, skill and compassion and such are the ways we will navigate the weekend.
Another important element of this retreat is one of ritual. In our disconnection with death in our society, we have lost alongside it the importance of ritual as an important and effective balm for the tenderness created with grief. We will explore ritual as an art from; how when we are able to open to our pain, we are also able to open to incredible beauty.
Retreat begins Friday, Nov 10 @ 3pm and ends Monday, Nov 13th @ 1pm. Prices vary depending on the accommodation chosen.
