Yoga as Medicine
Yoga has an incredible healing power when we step into it in a very intentional way; we can unwind the body, retune the nervous system and revitalize the spine. In this way, movement acts as a way to detox, reset and allow the body a chance to move into a place of healing.
Your body knows how to heal itself but we are constantly getting in the way.

Inhabiting The Heart
This is series dedicated to opening yourself up physically, mentally and emotionally to the pervading spaciousness within your heart. From a “bottom-up” approach we will work to remove physical and energetic blockages that keep us from entering and embracing our heart space so that we can feel safe to inhabit and live within this area of the body.

The Embodiment Series
A powerful blend of yin, restorative and conscious movement, this 5 class series has been created to help develop a depth of presence that melts into your soma, the tissues of your body. Class by class we explore new ways to move, feel and be with yourself; to learn how to live within your body, to be embodied.

The Sovereign Series
Sovereignty is the idea that while we as humans are dependant on each other to survive, we are also in power only unto ourself and over ourself. It is the idea that our natural individuation from the other is necessary to prevent enmeshment, co-dependance and lack of boundaries. Sovereignty is then, an experience of clear boundaries; where “I” end and “you” begin, it is a palpable felt sense of self within the container of your body.

As always we will explore these concepts alongside intention movement and deep stretching; creating space for contemplation and embodiment. The class is suitable for all levels.
Join me for an invigorating Spring cleaning within your body! During these sessions we will intentionally awaken the spine, wring out the internal organs and reset the gut as we move into warmer weather. Shed the stagnant energies of Winter and bring new life back into your body; one asana, one breath and one cell at a time.
Reset The Nervous System
Join me for 6 weeks of reseting our nervous system after a full Summer, forest fires and all the other craziness that life throws at us. A blend of restorative poses to let the system settle along with more vigorous flows for creating strength and resilience in your system, this series will be a blend of breath and movement that is sure to help you create a feeling of renewed vitality within your body and mind. All levels welcome!
