What I Offer
My training in somatic therapy reflects nearly two decades of study, embodiment, mentorship, and lived experience. Rather than a single credential, this work reflects a layered integration of trauma-informed bodywork, relational process, breath, and traditional therapeutic dialogue.
I offer sessions that weave together nervous system regulation, felt-sense awareness, and direct yet compassionate inquiry. We work with what is present — not forcing catharsis or insight — but allowing deeper patterns to reveal themselves at a pace that builds capacity rather than overwhelm.
This is therapy that includes the body as central, not secondary.

What is Somatic Therapy?
Somatic therapy is a body-based approach that invites deep listening to sensation, emotion, and subtle holding patterns within the nervous system.
Sessions begin with a check-in, and from there we gently shift toward embodied awareness. By tuning into the body’s signals — tension, breath, impulse, sensation — we begin to understand how present experiences have been shaped by earlier imprints.
Rather than approaching purely conceptually, we work from within the experience itself. This allows protective patterns to soften and new pathways to emerge organically.

How Sessions Work
My primary session container is 90 minutes. This length allows the body time to settle, defensive patterns to relax, and deeper processes to unfold without rushing integration.
Sessions may be held in person or online. In-person sessions may include supportive touch to help release physical holding patterns, though touch is never required for the work to be effective.
Clients typically begin meeting weekly or biweekly, depending on goals and capacity. Together, we determine a rhythm that supports steady progress and meaningful integration.
Each session is tailored to meet you where you are. The intention is not simply release, but repatterning — creating sustainable shifts in how you relate to yourself and others.

What This Work Supports
Somatic therapy can support:
• Emotional regulation and nervous system stability
• Processing trauma and early relational imprints
• Reducing chronic tension and stress patterns
• Strengthening boundaries and self-trust
• Deepening self-awareness and relational capacity

Clients often describe feeling more grounded, less reactive, more embodied, and more able to navigate complexity without collapse or defensiveness.
